Upholding tradition, upholding our seafarers’ interests…

Every year, the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society holds a range of events, from our annual Skill and Gallantry Awards, to fundraising campaigns and challenges. This section tells you all about previous award winners with their impressive feats at sea and the other individual events we hold. This includes Celebrations of the Sea, the world's first photography exhibition underwater, featuring images by Kate Westaway.
